Deepening the sense of connection between human and creature, the careful yet intentional cinematography creates an immersive sensation, allowing the audience to feel as though they are walking and riding, right beside Logan. The rugged land that takes care of Logan and her family, blossoms into a character of its own. Juxtaposing fluidly between the intimate and extreme close ups of Logan and her horses, intermixed with extreme wide shots, making the landscape a constant focal point. The burnt summer tones and golden hues of the rolling fields, the dusty tracks and the dried out pastures, framing the unmistakable and breathtaking vistas of Blackfoot Territory.
Shot on location in beautiful Siksika Nation, Tsuut’ina, Îyâxe Nakoda, Blackfoot Territory, Enoch Cree Nation ᒪᐢᑫᑯᓯᐦᐠ Maskêkosihk, Casper, Wyoming.
